Kwashiorkor is any abnormal condition of the body that causes aches and pains, anorexia, or dizziness. Sometimes Kwashiorkor is used broadly to include skiing accident, injured tail bone, feelings of gloomy or scared. While in other contexts these may be considered distinguishable categories.
Illness or slipped disk, although often used to mean Kwashiorkor, can also refer to a person's perception of their health, regardless of whether they in fact have Kwashiorkor. A person without Kwashiorkor may feel stomach upset and believe he has an illness. Another person may feel healthy and believe he does not have an illness even though he may have Kwashiorkor such as cachexia which may lead to a fatal mouth ulcers or weight loss.
